VH1 Pickup Artist 2 Casting

Everyday life, it's a lot different for some people than others. Some people consider every day life to be waking up and going to school. Waking up and going to work, or waking up and doing nothing all day.

For me, my every day life consists of waking up, and taking care of my mother. You see, it's been a little bit under half a year since my mom was diagnosed with 5 malignant tumors on her brain. They tried radiation, they tried chemotherapy, but none of it worked, and now I have been going through an everyday struggle watching her slowly, but surely slip away from me.

I know it's only natural, everyone loses a parent some time or another, but for me, I don't know why, but it seems to be hititng me so hard that I have basically become a shut in. I have not been out to a bar or any other place where I could socialize since New Years Eve. All I have known, throughout my life, is that my mother would be there for me. My mom has been the one consistent thing in my life, and now that I'm losing her, I'm realizing that I need to change my life.

This is why I'm trying to get selected for this contest. I think it would help me greatly in my quest to become a new man.

EDIT: Well, unfortunately, the inevitable has happened and my mother passed away on Thursday. I haven't been online to check my e-mail or anything for the past couple of days, so I just want to thank everyone who has voted for me.
