Hey, thanks for the continued support, guys, I appreciate it. Per the requirements for Round 2 profile, I've got a couple questions to answer, but there's no profile box available for those...so I'll be doing them here.
What, if any, was the boldest pickup move you ever made? How did it turn out for you?
- Boldest pickup move would have to have been on a dare to use a line on a girl, that was embarassing. It was the "Did it hurt? When you fell from heaven," line. That went over...so bad, haha. She pretended it worked and gave her name as "Auda...as in 'Auda (Outta) your league!'" Yeah, I got straight laughed at, then later on at the party she found me and went "Hey, hey, did THAT hurt?" Ouch, yup, it sure did. Got some baby back ribs out of it, though. Gotta be an optimist in times like these.
Aside from applying to reality TV shows, what are your interests? What do you do for fun, what kind of movies and music do you like?
- Well, I love video games, I'm currently hooked on my PSP. I'm playing that Jeanne D'Arc, God of War, and Crisis Core. Very fun. I enjoy cooking, once I get started, but I hate the prep work involved with it. Loafing around and watching TV is a major time-eater for me. ESPN, VH1/MTV, Spike, Comedy Central and E! are the channels I frequent most...Oh, and A&E for my CSI: Miami fix. I used to be really big on basketball, now I prefer to toss around the pigskin for fun...which is actually less physically stressful, haha. Procrastination is also a fave activity of mine, but it's a bad one, no one should procrastinate, it's bad, lowers your grades and stuff. I've been playing a lot of Warcraft III and Dawn of War also, but again, not as much as PSP. I love ROCK BAND!!! There will be a couple videos uploaded soon of me playing Rock Band, I'm usually the vocalist, sometimes the Bassist, and sometimes Vocalist/Bassist. That game is awesome. I will always put down any other game in favor of Rock Band.
I'm a fan of anime, but only a few, I think the best one I've seen is Death Note. I also watch Naruto and Bleach, they're both none too bad, One Piece also. For TV, I already listed CSI: Miami, I also like CSI: Las Vegas, Simpsons, Family Guy, almost any reality show on MTV/VH1 (they're funny as hell), Reno 911, Colbert Report, Daily Show, Kenny v Spenny, South Park, The Soup, Best Week Ever, those dating shows on MTV/VH1 (except for Flavor of Love), and pretty much anything on ESPN.
For the movies, I haven't really met any that I'd like to see more than once, one exception to that is Fight Club. I recently saw Revolver and was blown away by it, if you haven't seen it or heard of it, find it and watch it. It stars Jason Statham and Ray Liotta, directed by Guy Ritchie, good movie. Charlie Wilson's War had some good comedy in it while still being serious. There've been a lot of movies out that I'm sure I enjoyed, but their names escape me right now...I suppose that makes them forgettable to me, despite how good they are. I'm kinda bad with movies anyway, if I've seen them, they tend to just kind of leave my mind usually, but in terms of genre, I like the mindless action, the suspense, some of the horror, comedy, and the mind-f'ers, 'cause they're weird.
For music, I'm a big Top 40 guy, they're not all good to me, but a lot of them stay stuck in your head. They're forgettable too, but still good. Usher's "Love in the Club" is really catchy to me, but it took me about 8 listens before I warmed up to it. "Lollipop" is making its rounds on the airways, I like it. I liked a lot of boy band music too, great for karaoke. 80's music is awesome, once in a while, you just need to hear some Scandal or Twisted Sister. Rolling Stones and Aerosmith both have some songs that I like, namely "Paint It, Black" and "Dream On". The Eagles with "Hotel California" is a staple in many a mix CD. Recently, I started liking 30 Seconds to Mars, I know their CD came out in '05, but I didn't really care until a few months ago. Flyleaf is enjoying some success too, they're not too bad. Queens of the Stone Age, great band, but only 1 member is constant, kinda like Nine Inch Nails, whom I don't really like. I haven't kept up with it, but I like Trance music, makes me feel excited sometimes, calm other times. There's really not a whole lot of music I don't like, it's usually individual songs that I'm not a fan of.
Hope this covers the bases I needed to cover, if I think of something more, I'll addendum. Thanks for the votes all, and keep 'em coming!
