I am 21, UC Berkeley Senior Undergrad, majoring in Neurobiology and Religious Studies. I've spent the last semester learning computer programming and software engineering, using java, as3, python, LAMP, etc., to make some tools for neuroscience. I plan on working in computers with a few of my buddies making dynamic presentation systems and such. On my spare time, I like to learn, so I'll probably be working on the computer. Other than that, I have a fascination with the brain and pharmacology, so I read a lot about drugs and meditation and all that. I also like skateboarding; i've done that for like 8 years on and off, mostly in middle/high school. i've played the guitar forever, I love Tool insanely, and I want to learn how to sing when I get a chance. After studying physics I started wondering about Kepler's "Music of the Spheres" theory, and that led me to Tool and their amazing use of time signatures. So my music embraces a lot of unique rhythms, while also having a tiesto kind of feel to it. I like making trance music too on Reason. As for other activities of interest, I love hiking or just putting myself to the test, and I want to get into backpacking/spelunking when I get a chance. I was never much of a surfer, but I tried it on my trip down throughout Latin America and had a good time. I would like to eat only organic food, but don't have a car since I'm at school and it's too much work to go to the farmer's market. I love to dance, and I love to be around people, but I was never really the one to lead a group in conversation. That's what I'd like to work on now. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and training with the masters.
