I post on another board where one of the Asian guys showed pictures of himself. Despite his rampant online ego, he is a really good looking guy.
Another forum member made fun of his picture, and he went ballistic. It's one of those situations where the reaction is in no way equal to the antagonism, the joke of the comment was very obvious.
It seems a running trend that the Asians on this board and on other places have some sort of stigmatism against themselves. I grew up watching Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies, I always thought Asian men were awesome. I spent months in Thailand, have friends at West Point now in Japan, and watch Anime.
So, I may be prejudiced and think Asian people are by default awesome, but lots of Asian men on here and other places seem to think otherwise. So what's the deal guys, in only 256 characters, what's all this self-Asian hate I'm seeing? I had a Korean buddy in the Army who was the same way too. Asian people are beautiful, don't make me armbar you to prove it!
