I have to comment on the guy because I've defended him before, and he is causing some angst on this board. Here's some common objections:
1.) This show is about helping people who suck with women, and he doesn't. Therefore, he doesn't deserve a shot on the show.
2.) He's just glory-hogging for the sake of his website.
3.) He's only on here to win it and take the money.
4.) He's stealing votes from legitimate people.
The first objection isn't for casting contestants to decide. It's for Vh1, Mystery, and the production company to decide. These issues are viewer related issues, not contestant related issues. How they envision next season playing out is up to them.
As an example, the Ultimate Fighter changed formats this season to focus on more fights, and less man-drama. Dana White had a vision for the new season, and he implemented it. There's no telling what the vision for this season is, but since the casting company that is doing this is very experienced with reality shows, I'm pretty sure that they know what they're doing.
Number 2 is a possibility, but there's more inbound traffic from his website to this one than outbound traffic from this site to his. He's doing more to promote this show than the other way around.
Number 3 is probably the meat and potatoes of the argument. The thing is Mike would be committing PUA suicide if he just went on the show and stole it. Think about Pradeep from the first season. He came off looking like an ass. If he hits on a woman, he's that asshole from the "Pick-up Artist". If Mike goes on and acts like a toolbag, he's going to have a harder time infield.
Also, he's running a seduction blog for men. Who wants to learn from a jerk? Look at Joe D from the first season. He was a cool guy, he kept learning the game, and now he teaches it. How cool he would come off on this show would affect his viewership and how the community views him. The seduction community is growing by leaps and bounds, but it's still pretty small overall. He doesn't want to ruin any chances later on down the road.
The last one is kinda silly. You can vote for anyone at least once a day. So, someone can vote for both him and me, so he's not "stealing" the vote. Since most of his votes come from his radio and website, he's bringing in his own votes.
I think the real reason people are scared is because they think he can win it. If we were on the final episode right now, yeah, he'd slaughter most of us. But after eight weeks of training with some of the best PUAs in the entire world? I'm pretty confident I could pose good competition to his game after eight weeks of one-on-one training.
I think I am genuinely interesting and unique, and according to Neil Strauss, (read "The Game"), that's what seperates real PUAs from social robots or guys who learn all the lines but never get results.
By the way, I looked on the Venusian arts website. One day of training with Mystery is 10,000 dollars. For 560,000 dollars worth of training, I'm pretty sure I coould develop some good game. If half a million dollars worth of training won't teach me to be good with women, I don't think Mike is the biggest of my problems.
You can disagree with my reasoning, but make sure it's more than just random hate at the guy. If you're a viewer and you don't think Mike would be good to watch on the show, I think you're the only one with a legitimate complaint. Of course, some viewers won't want to see me. That's okay though, no man is perfect. (Aren't I punny?)

i dont agree with voters that are on here only supporting certain contestants which he has quite a bit. takes away from chance of hitting unbias voters to win votes

my problem is the voters that are only voting for certain contestants. it takes away from trying to get voters attention to vote for you when they only support their friend. i think mike would be better as an advisor but that is upto the producers
