My final answer is...

Wow! We are here already? I want to say good job to all the contestants who applied and tried for the second season of the Pickup Artist. I'm sure it was frustrating for some of you coming in late to the game and with all the rule changes. Anyway as we all know there can only be one winner in this contest. To the guys that didn't make it, ok so you don't get Mystery's help. I guarantee if a change in your life is something YOU desire, ask the right questions to enough people and you will get your answers. Even Mystery himself had to start somewhere.

With all that said and after weighing the final three contestants, it is my opinion the best candidate for the show is KF113. My support is with you!

To whoever does make it to the show, congratulations! I'll look forward to seeing you on the second season!

Round ONE? DONE!!! OMI1's personal picks!

I would first like to apologize for not keeping up with all of you as much as I would like to have. As much as I have really enjoyed reading your profiles and watching your videos, my life outside of being a voter took precedent. To all the contestants out there that came late to the dance, better luck next time. And to those who didn’t follow the rules, really I was pulling for some of you and think you would have done well on the show. I guess you did not want it bad enough to follow through.

Now for the good. The following is my list of individuals who I believe should make it to the second round and possibly even on to the mansion with Mystery. While there are quite a few excellent candidates these are the ones that really stick out in my mind. Whether they were funny, charismatic, or plain just looked like they were in serious need of a man makeover, the list goes as follows. (Names not spelled to exact login name)

1. eddieJerkey – Goofy, animated, and the dude can break-dance and rollerblade. Need I say more
2. H2theizo – Techie computer looking guy, soft spoken. I want to see this guy come out kickin’ like Jackie Chan!
3. Putt 99 – Give the big guy a chance. Hey Joe D. did pretty well
4. X-Knowledge – This guy can hold a bear? I’ve known a few women who are the same. I guess some prerequisites have been filled.
5. Mostyle86 – “Carlton – Jr.” (think Fresh Prince of Bel Air)
6. NoMan – Mad Props to the man who has served our country
7. ZenLaugh – This guy should definitely add some comedy to the show.

The list continues in honorable mention: Guys that should make it to at least round two and get a second look.

1. Supradesi
2. Richard
3. Tremor
4. TheRealMe
5. Drewder
6. Rambo
7. Imwright
8. CyrusTheVirus

To all those who busted their asses, I commend you for your efforts. Also while there are quite a few guys that I think are pretty damn cool, and while I don’t doubt that you would appreciate being on the show, in my opinion are light years ahead of the majority of the competition. (Really who wants to see a blowout?) This show was made to help those who have not been gifted or lack in social dynamics. I hope the winner of this online competition is someone who is truly in need of calibration and redirection. I believe every Man (and yes, women too!) should have the opportunity to feel like king (or queen) when dealing with the opposite sex. This show is a vehicle to fill that need. I hope the producers feel the same way when making the final selections.

Sometime soon...

I will be adjusting my top 7 sometime soon. Use this time as an opportunity to promote yourself with your peers. It doesn't take much just to say hi to a fellow contestant and ask for some support. Look at it as a first step. Strength comes in numbers, make some new friends, we are all here for the same thing. Hey, its still early and up in the air. Who's wants it most... You decide!

Why I choose to vote...

First, I am in no way shape or form affiliated with Vh1, MTV, or any other broadcasting network. I am a real person who was entertained and intrigued by the first season of "The Pickup Artist." It hit home for me because it reminded me of my own experiences about six years ago when I ended a long term relationship. I too had somebody help with my own personal growth and development. Some of the things taught were life changing transformations, all of which provided for positive advancement. Something I am truly thankful for. Either Mystery is a truly good actor, or he believes in the benefits of his practice. I would like to think the truth is the latter of the two. This is why I support the show.

It is now my turn to help someone else. Ok, it may not be much, and yes I am only one voter, but I will follow up on you. Most people will get votes from me for an attempt. Hey, it does take some balls to put yourself out there. I will try to look at everyone’s profile, but I will only comment and promote you if I think you truly deserve it. If I missed you drop me a comment and I'll take a look.

To those who are in my top 7, keep promoting yourself, sell it! If you make it to the show... BALLS TO WALL!!! Be careful what you wish for though because it might just come true. Things are never as they appear to be. Remember, you are asking for the knowledge (and the premise of the show) to become "Pickup Artists" not the world’s greatest boyfriend or how to get your first girlfriend. Use your newly acquired knowledge to become a chooser and not someone else’s "plan b."

I'll get off my soapbox... for now!

Good Luck and happy hunting,

OMI1

Girls vs. Guys

As a disclaimer, some women might be offended. This text is a matter of opinion, feel free to disagree.

Ok, Vh1 pickup artist... A show about guys, FOR GUYS!!! I understand that certain ladies could benefit from some advice in the realm of pickup and social dynamics. Some of the videos already posted by women have resonable requests for help from someone like Mystery. Most with a legitimate need for personal development in their lives. "The Pickup Artist," is not the vehicle for feminine transformation. While some of the game is the same for both men and women in terms general guidelines, the rules by which they play by would be like trying to compare apples to oranges. As a guy and a viewer, I want to see a show that is entertaining as well as subject matter that I could relate to. If I truely wanted to see a woman "made" over... Wait, I can... its called Tyra, Oprah, Jenny Jones (insert any one of any numerous female TV celebrities that already help women)

To VH1, Keep the show a boys club!
