As you may have noticed yesterday, the producers of the show have posted a blog where they announced that they are "seriously considering who they are going to be selecting for interviews."
Now it's probably not much of a big deal for some people who all but given up hope, But for me, when I read that blog, it actually motvated me big time. Because at that time, I was just about to lose faith and just call it quits on this casting call, like so many others. Because let's be honest, unless you have been stuffing your ballot 24 houre a day for the last couple of weeks (and I doubt that there would be a few that wouldn't be) there is NO way you can be on the show.
The blog could not have come at a better time because now, for some of us, the main objective has now changed, from, "get the people's vote", which was a losing battle from the the first day by the way, to "get the Producer's attention" in which an interview could provide as much of a chance of getting on the show as getting 30000 votes.
Needless to say, I am now much invigorated and I intend on trying much harder now to make sure the producers notice me. I would suggest the rest of you to do the same. If you don't have a video posted, post one. If you do have a video posted, now's the time to let loose the restraints. Make your next video something that is going to pop out when the producers do decide to start looking. Make sure it's tasteful first and foremost. The rules still apply all.
If ever there was a time to look like a dork on camera, though for some of us, that's not a hard job to do, Now would be that time. So good luck to all at this point and keep trying to get those votes.
