Aside from applying to reality TV shows, what are your interests? What do you do for fun, what kind of movies and music do you like?

I have a lot of interests actually. I enjoy learning about business and money management. My dream is to become a financial advisor one day. I want to eventually be in a position to help other people acheive their dreams. I love foreign languages. I have studied French, Spanish and German. I have a somewhat working knowledge of all three of them. However, I am not fluent. With more practice, I could be though. I enjoy reading books on science (you gotta read The Physics of Superheroes), history, business, art, philosophy, humor, african-american fiction/non-fiction and writing. I used to love to paint in oils. I just don't have the space for that anymore. I still try to draw whenever I can. I used to collect comic books. Then they got hella expensive. And when faced with the choice of either food or comic books, I had to choose the former. Hey, a man's gotta eat! And lastly, Joss Whedon is a genius! There are just no words for the Buffy/Angel series that he created. Those two shows were creative gold. And I just wish that I had half the talent that that man has. I will always have an interest in Buffy the Vampire Slayer...no matter where I am, no matter what I'm doing. Fact!
I enjoy writing for fun (screenplays and short stories mostly). And nope I haven't had anything published. But I did think about submitting to Project Greenlight one year. Too bad they're no longer doing that. I also enjoy playing poker and pool (I'm pretty good at both). And of course I like hanging out with friends...rocking out on the playstation. But I'm old school with that (burnout3 takedown...anyone?)
My favorite kinds of movies are anything with strong characters and a plot. I don't want to just see a little nudity and some SFX. You gotta ENTERTAIN me. With that said, Pulp Ficton, hands down, will always get my number 1 vote. That is the ONLY movie that I went back six times to the theater to see. And it is the only movie that surprised me every time with something different. That movie was like a freakin' onion. The more you peeled away at it, the more layers you got.
As far as music is concerned, I'll pretty much listen to anything once. From the Klezmer Conservatory Band to Yo-Yo Ma. I love blues, jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, International, Rock, Country, Classical, Easy Listening...I pretty much love it all. If I had to narrow it down to a few top artists, I would have to say: Jay-Z, Kanye West, Cesaria Evora, John Lee Hooker, Jane Monheit, Patsy Cline, Bob Marley, Gustav Mahler, Sade, Sarah McLachlan, No Doubt and Billie Holliday. Art is my life. I live and breathe that sh*t.
